ZeitnotZEIT007 by Thee J Johanz features some real nice variety. A hands-in-the-air peak-time roller ‘Sunny Dawn’ is bound to bring many ecstatic moments on the dancefloor. ‘L’ectric Nelly’ is a sleazy broken beat workout, with a rhythm reminiscent of some classic US house trax, interspersed with characteristic Thee J Johanz obscure synth noises. A long, drawn out, ambient ‘Axxomatic’ transports you to an otherworldly womb, pulsating and growing, before receding back into the ether.
Zeitnot is a label owned and operated by Jordan Carnall – Seven Hills co-founder and in-house deejay. With a focus on releasing on hand stamped white label vinyl. Zeitnot is predominantly a club-orientated label. Dark room and smoke machine mandatory.
