Although his name might not ring any immediate bells in your mind, Titonton Duvante has been making and releasing techno music before you were in your nappies. The man has travelled them all - 2000 Black, Neroli, 7th City, Residual Recordings, you name it! The veteran is invited to mark the second release of new label YAY with three cuts, all of them representing what we like to call 'the real shit'. The A-side, "Persevere", is a mellow house swinger with docile waves of pads and a mechanical groove, and the B-side continues this gorgeous wave of melodic meditation thanks to "The Reason Why" and "Until You Understand". Masterful and deeply seductive.
