Wormhole Wisdom HollandThis year marks the 30th anniversary of the much mythologised Marine Boy EP that landed in 1990. It perfectly captures the sounds of the time - dreamscape synths, far-sighted techno and subtle rushes of euphoria. Both 'Laura Laura' and 'La Monde Marine' have been remastered from the original DAT recordings, and added for extra good measure are some previously unreleased Marine Boy tunes from 1990 to 1992. 'This City (PX edit)' is a super punchy affair with aching female coos, while 'Laura Laura' has a perfect old school bassline. These are decidedly old school tunes but will fit right into any eclectic set if done well.
