blaq numbersTom Banks aka Donald Dust joins Leipzig’s Blaq Numbers
label for 'Bone Structure', the latest instalment of their Whyte
Numbers 12” series. I’m Bobby Orlando is a ‘passionate’
tribute to the king of Hi-NRG himself, later remixed by Mood
Hut co- founder Local Artist. Bone Structure pairs synth
chords influenced by peak 80s Vince Clarke with dry, punchy
Chicago House drums and a production nod to I-f’s broken
Space Invaders setup. Elsewhere, Banks morphs Lightning
Bolt of Love from a stomping, fizzy downtempo House track to
a psychedelic journey of discovery, complete with a stoned
conversation with himself. Finishing the 12” is a sequel of
sorts to 2017’s Skyway Patrol, an intergalactic anthem fit to
soundtrack the most intense battle in Space.
