cosa vostraWe're always happy to hear from a new label here at Juno HQ and that is just what we're presented with here. Cosa Vostra is a new label from Chat Noir that kick off with a first EP from Lyon based producer Carriego who lays out a futurist techno vision across these four fine cuts. 'Highly Unlikely' opens up with booming kicks and atmospheric pads to make for a sparse yet absorbing sound. 'Acid Apophis' then brings some dubby drum funk to a mid tempo groove that soundtracks a metropolis in the sky after dark. 'Catwalk' ups the ante with more chatter percussive energy and 'In The Distance' closes out with a nice grinding bassline and snappy hits.
