LibertineSavvas Georgiadis' vast array of monikers and side projects are enough to warrant an article on their own, but the Greek producer knows very well that that his Neuro D alias is what punters in the trance game are wanting to hear more than anything else. The man has moved onto techno these days, but this latest EP still has plenty of remnants from the mid-90s trance wave... a particular sub-genre which was very popular around here at the time. Out through Libertine, "Premonition" is a neat hybrid of minimal techno, hard-ass house and something addictively progressive; on the flip, "Pictograms" is even more cyber-punk in its flex, and "Eclipsis" stutters its wayward bassline over fast, dusty percussion and a positively off-kilter beat.
