Sintope Vinyl SeriesRomanian duo NTFO are celebrating a decade of releases on Sintope Vinyl Series, the physical offshoot of the Sintope Digital imprint they set up in 2008. There's no better way to do that of course than for them to return to the label for the first time in two years. Our pick of the pair is A-side "Serva Doi", where subtly spacey chords and attractive electronic arpeggio lines bubble away atop a hypnotic, locked-in late night groove. The pair's deep and atmospheric state of mind is explored further on flipside "Sensory Room", a wonderfully hazy, drowsy and body-warming affair built around weighty low-end pressure, cyclical chords and just the right amount of undulating electronics.
