SITUMelbourne based DJ Life brings a wide sphere of influences to his fresh new four tracker on SITU. It is the cosmic bump and future tech funk of 'Proton' that opens up in superb fashion, immediately getting you locked in and ready to party. His silky synth skills and knack for a compelling drum line continues on 'Ride,' which is more direct and physical but no less captivating. The punchiness of 'Skeletal' is something to behold, with its kinetic drums and razor sharp hi hats softened only slightly by the aqueous effects and watery bass. 'Wormhole' is a nice tripped out closer for the latest of sessions.
