SocialEven by East End Dubs' prolific standards, Social is a seriously epic proposition. Set to showcase 30 tracks over three sizeable releases (this first instalment boasts five slabs of wax), its effectively one epic debut album split into parts. Naturally, it's not an album in a traditional sense, but rather a superb collection of dancefloor workouts in the producer's trademark style. Social Part 1, then, is like an East End Dubs starter pack: a fine collection of deep, dubby and sturdy cuts that brilliantly blend elements of deep house and tech-house. There are naturally plenty of darker, early morning moments, but pleasingly these come accompanied by a cluster of deeper and more melodious workouts.
