Label
RDV MusicIf you're looking for a suitably tactile, locked-in, saucer-eyed dancefloor experience, you can always rely on Molly. The sometime Giegling, Groovement and Cin Cin artist is on fine form on 'Thoughts of a Day', which delivers a couple of new cuts as well as headline-grabbing remixes. Opener 'It Feels Like It Only Goes Backwards' is ultra-deep and deliciously dreamy, with jazz-flecked drum machine cymbals, warm bass, snappy snares and immersive pads catching the ear, while 'Mercure', which closes the EP, offers a more hypnotic, forthright and mind-mangling take on early morning tech-house. Sandwiched in between you'll find a ghostly ambient revision of 'It Feels Like It Only Goes Backwards' courtesy of Koreander, and a rubbery, bouncy, life-affirming deep house-goes-techno twist on 'Sweet Afternoon' by the mighty Fred P.
