Nuances de NuitBuckle in and prepare the spaceship for take-off, the next serving from London based ‘Nuances de Nuit’ has landed, following the same four-artist format and high energy, dancefloor-focused cuts as its six predecessors.
Kicking things off is DJOKO with Feed Me - a punchy, groove-laden slab of forward-thinking house music that is sure to ignite any dancefloor. Following up is something that could easily be mistaken as coming from an obscure 1994 Italian record, but instead is Bogota based Nicolas Duque with Thumb Stopper, a slick blend of bouncy basslines and blissful organs. On the flip is Occibel’s Rocket, a high-tempo cut filled with twitchy modulated stabs and a mid-track switch up that’s best enjoyed in a packed room with strangers. Last up is Space Tours head honcho Mitch Wellings, providing something a little different in Logical, perfect for the early sets or afters. Do not sleep.
