Nocturbulous FranceNocturbulous turn their attention to a classic from the vaults of Belgian New Beat. Originally released by The Maxx in 1988, "Cocaine" was a slow and sleazy club banger back then and has continued to be ever since. Whether or not it glamourises the drug is up to your interpretation, but it's certainly not a track for the light hearted end of the night. Now it's been handed over to a mixed bag of modern operators, leading in with an absolutely slapping version by Umwelt and backed up by the likes of Jean Bruce & Dauphin and Millimetric all having a go. This is wonderfully sinister club tackle for all lovers of EBM, New Beat, Industrial and sleazy electro.
