Maison Mere FranceMontpellier's Yamen & Eda present more quality grooves that have them at the forefront of their local scene, in addition to releases on One Records, Earlydub and Laate. The swing-fuelled and glitched out microhouse of A side cuts of "Pay Ad" or Pastels" respectively pursue a current trend of classic Perlon inspired sounds - as good as recent works by Tobe & Fabe or Gene On Earth. On the flip, "Machine That Thinks" channels some subtle electro influences (another emerging trend in the minimal scene), while "Breakfast Cereals" looks more towards the classic futurist tendencies of Detroit on what is the surprising highlight here - not as dancefloor ready as the rest, but perfect for those emotive vibes at the afterhour.
