Kommuna Tapes is a Barcelona based label curated by Youtube tastemaker CMYK and Rubi. For the third release on their imprint, they have got some legends and newbies alike. Young German producer Chris Geschwindner takes over the A side with a couple of fine tracks. Our favourite being the emotive "Lostnfound" with its broken beats beneath soulful Detroit elements - it is quite reminiscent of Slow Life's S. Moreira actually. Coincidentally, he featured on the label's last release. On the flip, we hear that the breaks are a recurring theme: Adam Collins, half of legendary American tech-house duo Omni AM, delivers the sublime and hypnotic groove of "Tropical Girl", and early noughties deep house icon Brian Cavender aka Seafoam serves up the delay drenched, dubbed-out deepness of "Tripped Up".
