Second time around for Ectomorph's brilliant "Subsonic Vibrations", which initially appeared as the first release on Interdimensional Transmissions back in 1995. It remains a killer EP full of dancefloor workouts (see the aggressive, rumbling bass and deep space rhythms of "Subsonic Vibrations" and "Parallax View"), locked-in DJ tools ("Loop 1", "Loop 2"), deeper excursions into mind-altering electro territory (the alien-sounding beat-box funk of "Skin") and fizzing, pitched-up, electro-funk (EP highlight "The Last Days of Skylab"). There's no filler or fluff, just high quality electro that still sounds like the future, 23 years after it was made.
