( GH 09 ) VIEWS - Self Love EP (limited to 150 12") Garage Hermetique

Berlin-based Views - aka Atilla Fidan - always takes his time in releasing new techno material, but it's always worth the wait. Three years on from his last EP, he's returning to Onirik's Garage Hermetique label with another batch of machine jams with classic electronica in their bones. There's a whiff of early Orbital about 'Eends', but the weaving lead lines also speak to Aphexian melancholy. 'Self Love' has a rawer acidic bleep techno flavour, while Onirik gets busy on a remix of earlier track 'Nazar' before the deeper strains of 'Arrival' take hold.
