On this latest link up with Submod and Shuray Walle, that mission has been achieved in fine style. ‘Pellegrin’ is the consummate stripped-down shuffler with pinprick hats, bouncing subs and crafty, wriggling synth lines, all the better for Trauma to get his hands on for a remix which takes the track into dreamy, after hours territory. ‘Zermatt’ is a more submerged affair with favours the mysterious, half-hidden dub approach to micro house, and sounds incredibly strong with it.
