The young Euphoric State label is back with another offering it hopes will take you to emotional places new. And it does thanks to the work of Tape Hiss with the On Persephone's Island EP. The title cut opens up with sleek house drums that come alive with some celebratory piano chords that bring the good times in a classy fashion. 'You Are The Light' is a more minimal number but still has plenty of silvery pads and then 'A Veritable Sea' rides on nice zoned out breakbeats. 'An Angel Of Reason' is maybe the best of the lot - a warm hearted, mid tempo end of the night cut that makes you feel gooey inside.
