Botanic MindsBotanic Minds launches with aplomb by welcoming in the subtle, seductive sounds of Rowlanz and Kevin Cook. It's all kicking off for the former with the launch of the RLZ label and an appearance on Vivus Records, while the latter is returning to the fray after last being seen in 2008. Either way, the pair have experience in the game and it shows in the sleek refinement of this EP, from the hushed minimal house groove of "Dots Pantry" to the more uptempo tick of "Creeper". Watch out for an on-point remix of "Creeper" by Mierea Dor, who turns the original into a wonderfully freaky snake charmer.
